At
Classic Ski we aim to give you a stress-free holiday so
that you can enjoy wonderful skiing in the company of
friendly, like-minded people. All
the resorts have an excellent record of good snow and
offer a wide range of skiing. The
quality hotels offer excellent facilities and are very
close to the pistes and lifts. Most
of our clients are aged between 45 and 70 (at present
the record stands at 83 years!). A friendly, relaxed atmosphere
is quickly built up within our resort groups, beginning
with the initial hospitality evening. |

By
travelling midweek or on Sundays the usual pressures and
delays are avoided. All
flights are on scheduled British Airways routes to Geneva,
either from Gatwick or Manchester.
We are also pleased to be able to offer connecting Our
representatives will meet you at the airport check-in
before departure; and the ski instructors (who also act
as your resort reps.) will greet you on arrival in Geneva.
With our morning flights you should reach the resort
early enough to ski on the day you arrive. Transfers from Geneva to our resorts by minibus or coach normally take about 1.5 hours. |

Tuition
groups are deliberately kept small - no more than 6 people
are assigned to each instructor.
All of Guy's team are very experienced and speak
excellent English. Groups
meet for five hours tuition each day* - times may vary
from day to day according to the wishes and stamina of
the party members.
When accompanied by an instructor, skiers have
priority on the lifts.
All instructors carry two-way radios. The
Ski Evolutif method is used for beginners where skiers
start with short skis and progress to longer ones as they
gain ability and confidence. Clients
are assured of being guided to the best skiing areas available.
Powder skiing off-piste is offered when conditions
are suitable. For
the more adventurous, extra activities such as paragliding,
snow scooter rides and ballooning can be arranged, and
even helicopter flights at Flaine.
Your instructor can organize these at special discount
rates. *
If, unusually, there is only one person at a particular
level they will have 2 hours individual tuition. |

The
holiday price includes the hire of top quality boots and
skis.
Your instructor will accompany you to help and
advise on fitting.
If you are bringing your own equipment, a deduction
of £15 will be made for boots and £30 for skis. |
|
Normally, beginners in Flaine do not need a lift pass until 2 or 3 days into the holiday as the lifts on the nursery slopes are free.
